The Lost Dog – Short Moral Story or Paragraph for Kids

The Lost Dog

Barky-Brave-Act

Johny and his family were going to the park for a picnic. He was very excited because the park was so much fun. He also loved to eat! The family sat in the car and made their way to the city park. They gathered all their things and found a big patch of green grass perfectly suitable for a picnic. With a sandwich in his hand, Johny started telling his mom what they were learning in school.

They were enjoying the discussion over food when a white dog walked by! At first no one paid any attention. Suddenly Johny noticed that the dog had been whining the entire time! It was probably lost. “Mom! Mom! Look, there is a lost dog!” Johny cried. They began to look around to see who might be the owner. After looking around for an hour, they gave up. The owner of the dog was nowhere in sight. So, they decided to take the dog to their house with them. Next morning, Johny and his mother drove all around the town to find the owner of the dog.

Johny made some posters with his mother’s help and pasted them everywhere. Luckily, a man called the next day and claimed to be the dog’s owner. He came to take the dog in the evening. The family was depressed to part with the dog though they were happy that the dog had found his real master.”Mom, can we pleeeease get a dog?” Johny begged his mother after the dog was gone. She readily agreed and they went to bring their own furry pet! The adventure at the park gave Johny a new friend.
