This year, as usual, Holi was celebrated in our colony with great pomp and now. There was a great excitement among the residents because they had decided in a meeting to celebrate Holi in its right spirit.Early in the morning they visited assembled in the chock with packets of dry red colour in their hands. They visited every house where they were Welcomed with “gulal” and served with sweets.
In the evening, a bonfire was made in the chock. Merry youngsters sang and danced round the fire. There are some Muslim families in our colony. They, too, took part in Holi celebrations whole – heartedly.
