Last sunday I went to see an exhibition named international trade fair. It was held at pragati maidan. It was organised by the department of small scale industries. There were large crowds of people.
They were in their gay dresses. It looked like an big fair. Almost all the states had set up their pavilions. Articles made in small scale industries were displayed there. There were handicrafts, hosiery and readymade garments, sports goods, plastic toys etc.
There was a great rush at the stall selling eatables, appu ghar was a great attraction for the children. I had a happy time there. It showed that rural uplift can make india a developed state.
